The Raritan Township Police Department offers property checks as a service to residential property owners in the Township. Residents whose houses will be vacant while they are vacation can request the police department check their residence while they are away. The residence will be checked regularly by a police officer for up to a thirty (30) day period. Patrol officers will conduct random checks of the residence to make sure the property home is secure and that there is no suspicious activity in the area.
The Property Check Form can be downloaded here. Once completed, the form must be delivered to the Raritan Township Police Department in person. This is a security measure that ensures the property owner is requesting the property check.
