Raritan Twp Police Dept Press Release: December 3, 2019

On Saturday, October 26, 2019 Officer Dustin Pflug arrested Baiylee C. Barnes (Age 19) of Morristown, NJ for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana. The vehicle that Barnes was operating was stopped on Route 202/31 for failing to maintain its lane of travel.

On Friday, November 1, 2019 Officer Scott Phibbs arrested Ryan P. Stell (Age 35) of Phillipsburg, NJ for, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Theft of Movable Property. The charges were the result of an investigation that revealed Stell had used a company credit card without authorization to purchase pre-paid American Express gift cards totaling $819.82.

On Saturday November 2, 2019 Sergeant Robert Landolina arrested Henry Urena (Age 19) of Freeport, NY and Kenny A. Miranda-Almendares (Age 18) of Freeport, NY for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession/ Consumption of Alcohol. The vehicle they were in was stopped behind the CVS on Rt. 202/31.

On Monday November 4, 2019 Cpl. Arron Roth arrested Matthew M. Shaw (Age 25) of Hatfield, PA, Nicole A. Ingersoll of Lansdale, PA (Age 22) and Anthony M. Paone (Age 26) of Lansdale, PA for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana. The vehicle was originally stopped for having a non-working headlight and the rear passenger was not seat belted.

On Wednesday November 6, 2019 Officer Brett Szatkowski arrested Bruce Steeg (Age 52) of Flemington, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated. Steeg was involved in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Rt 202 and Dory Dilts Rd. There were no injuries.

On Thursday November 7, 2019 at 10:45 pm Officer Ismael Mendez responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of 1200 Route 523. The vehicle was parked off the roadway when Officer Mendez arrived. The driver, Vincent Lee Lavoie Jr. (Age 40) of Nazareth, PA was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

On Sunday November 10, 2019 at 7:22 am a witness reported observing a vehicle strike the main doors of JP Case Middle school. The driver then exited his vehicle and urinated on the doors. The witness observed the vehicle leave the scene and proceed onto Case Blvd where the tire blew out. Officer Anthony Moreno located the disabled vehicle and driver who was identified as Gabino E. Careaga (Age 21) of Flemington, NJ. Careaga was arrested by Officer Moreno for Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Mischief.
