Raritan Twp Police Dept Press Release: November 1, 2019

THE FACT THAT A PERSON HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED DOES NOT IMPLY THAT HE OR SHE IS GUILTY. ALL PERSONS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.

On Sunday October 13, 2019 at 6:00 pm police were dispatched to the area of the Sunridge pool for a man on foot smoking a controlled dangerous substance. When officers arrived, they located Michael C. Wipperman (Age 25) of Flemington, NJ near the playground by the pool. He was arrested by Officer Adam Swiatek for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.

On Tuesday October 15, 2019 at 2:15 am Jamal M. Ferguson (Age 25) of Hackettstown, NJ was arrested by Sergeant Robert Landolina for possession of over 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The vehicle Ferguson was operating had been stopped for having an expired registration.

On Thursday October 17, 2019 at 10:55 am Jeffrey S. Sabol (Age 52) of Flemington, NJ was arrested by A/Sgt. Christopher Vallat for Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest occurred in the parking lot of the Sunridge pool.

On Tuesday October 22, 2019 at 10:54 pm Officer Dustin Pflug was dispatched to the area of Route 202 near Northlandz in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. Officer Pflug located the vehicle and observed it swerving. The vehicle was stopped on River Road. The driver, Gregory Miller (Age 53) of Flemington, NJ was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

On Friday October 25, 2019 at 11:56 pm Stefan A. Burozski (Age 33) of Hackettstown, NJ was arrested by Officer Anthony Moreno for Driving While Intoxicated. Officer Moreno originally stopped the vehicle on Route 31 for failing to maintain its lane of travel.

On Saturday October 26, 2019 at 7:53 pm Robert T. Taylor (Age 25) of Raritan, NJ was arrested by Officer Alex Soh for Driving While Intoxicated. Officer Soh had been dispatched to a residence for a report of a suspicious person. Cpl. Sutherland arrived on scene first and located Taylor sitting in his running vehicle. Taylor was lost and had gone to the residence asking for directions.
