Raritan Twp Police Dept Press Release: August 16, 2019

THE FACT THAT A PERSON HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED DOES NOT IMPLY THAT HE OR SHE IS GUILTY. ALL PERSONS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.

On July 18, 2019 at 1:20 pm Laura E. Hasselbrink (Age 50) of Flemington, NJ was arrested by Officer Dustin Pflug for Driving While Intoxicated. Hasselbrink was attempting to park her vehicle in the parking lot of ShopRite and struck another parked vehicle. This prompted a police response which led to Officer Pflug making the arrest. There were no injuries.

On July 20, 2019 at 12:12 am Jameson T. Dunne (Age 25) of Hillsborough, NJ was arrested by Cpl. Chris Vallat for Driving While Intoxicated. The vehicle that Dunne was operating was originally stopped for equipment violations.

On July 20, 2019 at 10:40 pm Daniel M. Bill Jr. (Age 19) of Flemington, NJ and Alexander J. Molto (Age 19) of Stockton, NJ were arrested by Cpl. Christopher Vallat for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana. Cpl. Vallat was conducting a routine check of Hunterdon Central High School. Officer Vallat noticed a vehicle parked on the property near the fuel pumps. He made contact with the occupants and after further investigation both subjects were arrested.

On July 21, 2019 at 2:36am Sonia Gonzalez Calix (Age 34) of Flemington, NJ was arrested by Officer Robert Schenck for Driving While Intoxicated. The vehicle was originally stopped for driving at a low speed with its hazard lights flashing.

On July 21, 2019 at 8:15 pm Timothy T. Glynn (Age 40) of Neshanic Station, NJ was arrested by Cpl. Vallat for Driving Under the Influence. Cpl Vallat was dispatched to a single vehicle motor vehicle accident on Route 579. A white van being driven by Glynn struck several mailboxes. After further investigation Glynn was arrested for DUI.

On July 22, 2019 at 1:07 pm Nicholas E. Desouza (Age 26) of Stroudsburg, PA was arrested by Sgt. Robert Landolina for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The vehicle that Desouza was operating was originally stopped for having a non-working brake light.

On July 24, 2019 at 3:04 pm Jeffrey E. Chernesky (Age 24) of Flemington, NJ was arrested by Sgt. Robert Landolina for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana. The vehicle that Chernesky was operating was originally stopped for having a non-working brake light.

On July 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm Joseph E. Drost III (Age 27) of Tunkhannock, PA and Taylor N. Brokenshire (Age 20) of Monroe Twp., PA were both arrested for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernailia. The vehicle was originally stopped for failing to signal a turn and having a view obstruction. Sgt. Robert Landolina was the arresting officer.

On August 2, 2019 at 7:47pm Francisco Luis Carranza (Age 34) of Flemington, NJ was arrested by Officer Robert Schenck for Obstructing the Administration of Law. Officer Schenck was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the parking lot of Pet Smart. The driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene on foot. He was later located at his residence and arrested.

On August 4, 2019 at 3:25pm Sgt. Robert Landolina arrested Marc Vicioso (Age 21) of Morrisville, PA for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernailia. Sgt. Landolina was originally checking on Vicioso who's vehicle which was parked on the shoulder of Rt 202/31.
