THE FACT THAT A PERSON HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED DOES NOT IMPLY THAT HE OR SHE IS GUILTY. ALL PERSONS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
On December 27, 2018 at 3:00 pm Cpl. Michael Dendis responded to the Hampton Inn to take a theft report. According to hotel management a guest of the hotel paid with a credit card that was later declined. The guest stayed for 6 days and incurred a bill totaling $696.05. Cpl. Dendis contacted the guest who was identified as Drexcella Jacque (Age 52) of Frenchtown, NJ. Drexcella told Cpl. Dendis that she was working with her bank to correct the problem. On February 19, 2019 Det. Meg Hammond reviewed the case and determined the Hampton Inn had not received payment. Jacque was charged with Theft of Services a crime of the third degree.
On Wednesday February 15, 2019 at 10:51 pm Valentine R. Pfaff (Age 56) of Flemington, NJ was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Police were dispatched to the area of Sun Ridge Dr. and Aspen Lane for a report of a motor vehicle crash. A caller advised police they thought the driver was holding a beer bottle. The vehicle ran off the road and struck the curb and popped two tires. After further investigation it was determined that Pfaff was operating his vehicle under the influence of drugs and or alcohol. Officer Aaron Roth made the arrest and was assisted by Cpl. Christopher Vallat, who is a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).
On Thursday February 15, 2019 at 8:51 pm Cristian Elizalde-Oliveros (Age 21) of Flemington, NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). Police were originally called to the area of Shields Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle which was being operated by Oliveros struck a parked car, two mailboxes and a tree. After further investigation it was determined Oliveros was operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Officer Ryan Barry made the arrest.
On Sunday February 17, 2019 at 1:00 am Emmanuel Ramos (Age 20) of Kendall Park, NJ was arrested for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Alcoholic Beverage by Underage Person and Contempt of Court (East Brunswick). The vehicle he was driving was originally stopped for Failure to Maintain Lane and Maintenance of Lamps. The arrest was made by Sgt. Robert Landolina.
On Tuesday February 19, 2019 at 12:30am Brian C. Prichard (Age 51) of Phillipsburg, NJ was arrested for Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The vehicle he was operating was originally stopped for have an obstructed rear license plate and attempting to make an illegal U-turn. The arrest was made by Sgt. Robert Landolina.
