Raritan Twp Police Dept Press Release: May 14, 2018

Wednesday, May 9, 2018 @ 5:58 PM-Police arrested Barry T. Hopfel, age 33, of Frenchtown, N.J., for Driving under the Influence. Hopfel was involved in a single car motor vehicle accident on Route 579/Leffler Hill Road. Hopfel was charged with Driving under the Influence and issued the following motor vehicle summonses, Reckless Driving and Open Container in a Motor Vehicle. Hopfel was released to a family member. Investigation and arrest conducted by Cpl. Christopher Vallat.

Thursday, May 10, 2018 @ 11:28 PM-Police arrested Danielle A. Tiedman, age 24, of Doylestown, P.A., for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, under fifty grams of Marijuana. Tiedman was stopped by police for an unclear license plate on Route 202 near Old York Road. Tiedman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance under fifty grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Tiedman was issued motor vehicle summonses for Unclear License Plate and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle. Investigation and arrest conducted by Sgt. Robert Landolina.

Sunday, May 13, 2018 @ 1:36 AM-Police arrested Jahkeyla M. Rodriguez, age 30, of Prospect Park, N.J., for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance under fifty grams of Marijuana. Rodriguez was stopped by police on State Highway Route 202 for Maintenance of Lamps and Tinted Windows. Rodriguez was charged with Possession of under fifty grams of Marijuana and issued motor vehicle summonses for Maintenance of Lamps, Tinted Windows, and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle. Rodriguez was released pending a Court date. Investigation and arrest conducted by Ptl. Ismail Mendez.

Sunday, May 13, 2018 @ 7:05 PM-Police arrested Chandler B. Crimmins, age 25, of Flemington, for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Heroin. Police were called to the area of Panera Bread for a female that was acting suspicious. Upon arrival, the officer found Crimmins slumped over sitting outside on a bench and she appeared to be under the influence. Crimmins was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. Crimmins was released after processing pending a Court date. Investigation and arrest conducted by Ptl. Brett Szatkowski.
