Raritan Twp Police Dept Press Release: April 16, 2018

Thursday, April 12, 2018, @ approximately 9:10 AM- Police arrested Juan J. Simal, age 19, of Ringoes, N.J., for Possession of Under Fifty Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Simal was stopped for a partially cracked taillight in the area of Route 202/31 near Commerce Street. Simal was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Simal was also issued motor vehicle summonses for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle and Driving while Suspended. Simal was released pending a Court date. Investigation and arrest conducted by Sgt. Robert Landolina.

Saturday, April 14, 2018, @ approximately 7:45 AM- Police arrested Brittany M. Matzer, age 23, of Ewing, N.J. and Megan Brennan, age 18, Trenton, N.J., for Possession of Under Fifty Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Matzer was stopped for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration on State Highway Route 31 near Church Street Extension. Matzer and Brennan were charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Matzer was also issued motor vehicle summonses for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Driving with a Suspended Registration. Matzer and Breenan were released pending Court date. Investigation and arrest conducted by Patrol Officer Brett Szatkowski.

Saturday, April 14, 2018, @ approximately 11:22 PM- Police arrested Louis F. Graff, age 31, of Philadelphia, P.A., for Driving under the Influence. Graff was initially stopped for speeding 61 mph in a 45 mph on Barley Sheaf Road near Old York Road. Graff was charged with Driving under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, (Cocaine), Possession of Under Fifty Grams of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Graff was issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving under the Influence, Reckless Driving, Speeding, Possession of an Open Alcohol Container, and Possession of C.D.S. in a motor vehicle. After processing, Graff was released to the custody of a friend. Investigation and arrest conducted by Cpl. Christopher Vallat.
