Saturday, November 11, 2017 @ approximately 2:23 PM - Police arrested Daniel R. Villarreal, age 18 of Flemington and charged him with shoplifting from Kohl's on Rt. 202. Police were initially called to the store by a loss prevention employee who observed Villarreal and another male conceal store merchandise in their bags and attempt to leave the store without paying for it. The merchandise was identified as clothing and shoes with a retail value of less than $200.00. The other male involved originally advised that he was 18 years-old, but was later identified as a 17 year-old juvenile, also from Flemington. Villarreal was processed at police headquarters and released. The juvenile was released to his father with a juvenile complaint pending. Investigation and charges by P.O. Michael Dendis.

Sunday, November 19, 2017 @ approximately 3:32 AM - Police arrested Welner A. Mejia-Flores, age 29 of Flemington and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol following a motor vehicle stop on Walter E. Foran Boulevard. Police were initially called to the intersection of Foran Boulevard and Rt. 31 for a report of a driver who had apparently fallen asleep while waiting at the traffic signal there. Upon arrival, police located the described vehicle stopped in the left turn only lane on Foran Boulevard. The driver, later identified as Mejia-Flores, was found to be asleep. He was issued additional motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe traffic signal, delaying traffic, reckless driving and careless driving. The vehicle was towed and Mejia-Flores was released to a family member after processing at police headquarters. Investigation and arrest by P.O. Scott Phibbs.

Tuesday, November 21, 2017 @ approximately 2:04 AM - Police arrested Anthony O. Wigfall, Jr., age 19 of Pineville, SC and charged him with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 202/31. Wigfall was a passenger in a vehicle that was initially stopped for having a brake light out. He was released after processing at police headquarters. Investigation and arrest by Sgt. Matthew Lawrence.

Wednesday, November 22, 2017 @ approximately 3:02 PM - Police arrested Andre S. Brown, age 40 of Scotch Plains, NJ and charged him with theft of movable property - value greater than $500.00, but less than $75,000.00 following an investigation. On November 16, a service manager at Flemington BMW reported to police that the dealership had provided Brown with a loaner vehicle that was now past due for return. The vehicle was a 2017 BMW X1. During the course of the investigation, a warrant was issued for Brown's arrest charging him with theft of movable property. On November 17, the Raritan Township Police Department was notified that Brown was arrested by the Perth Amboy Police Department and would be transferred to the Middlesex County Jail. Brown was not in the BMW when he was arrested. On November 21, the dealership contacted police and advised that their vehicle had been retuned. On November 23, Raritan Township Police responded to the Middlesex County Jail and took custody of Brown. Brown was returned to Raritan Township where his arrest was processed. He was then turned over to the Hunterdon County Sheriff's Department to be lodged in the Somerset County Jail. Initial investigation by P.O. Margaret Hammond, follow up investigation by Det. Geoffrey Benz and arrest by Detective Brian Sutherland.

Wednesday, November 22, 2017 @ approximately 10:31 PM - Police arrested John W. Ismen, age 18 of Bethlehem, PA and charged him with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an alcoholic beverage while under legal age following contact with him at Clover Hill Park. Ismen was a passenger in a vehicle that police stopped to check on after observing it in the park after dark. The park is closed from dusk until dawn. Ismen was released after processing at police headquarters. Investigation and arrest by P.O. Adam Swiatek.

Thursday, November 23, 2017 @ approximately 5:17 PM - Police arrested Jadon E. Robinson, age 21 of Fords, NJ and charged him with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 202/31. Robinson was initially stopped for an unsafe lane change, following too close and a view obstruction. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for obstructed view. Robinson was released after processing at police headquarters. Investigation and arrest by Sgt. Robert Landolina.
