Raritan Twp Police Dept Press Release: November 15, 2017

Monday, October 30, 2017 @ approximately 4:09 AM - Police arrested Robert J. Smith, age 38 and Erin N. Cranmer, age 22, both of Voorhees, NJ and charged each with multiple offenses after contact with them at the Ramada Inn. Police were initially called to the motel for a report of a suspicious person and vehicle in the parking lot there. Upon arrival, police made contact with Smith, then Cranmer. After an investigation on scene Smith was charged with obstructing the administration of law, hindering the apprehension of another and promoting prostitution. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving with a suspended driver's license. During the course of the investigation, Smith was found to have an active traffic warrant for his arrest issued out of Southampton Township Municipal Court ($2,000.00 bail) and an active criminal warrant for his arrest issued out of Voorhees Township Municipal Court ($500.00 bail). Both jurisdictions elected to release Smith on his own recognizance with new court dates. After processing at police headquarters, Smith was released. Cranmer was charged with engaging in prostitution, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Schedule II Narcotic) and possession of drug paraphernalia. During the course of the investigation, Cranmer was found to have multiple wants and warrants for her arrest. They included; an active NCIC Hit from Somerset County, NJ (no bail), an active criminal warrant issued out of Voorhees Township Municipal Court ($400.00 bail), and active traffic warrants issued out of Readington Township Municipal Court ($1,000.00 bail), Montgomery Township Municipal Court ($750.00 bail) and Ocean Township Municipal Court ($500.00 bail). After processing at police headquarters, Cranmer was released to the Hunterdon County Sheriff's Department who transferred custody of her to Somerset County authorities on their active NCIC Hit. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 @ approximately 11:33 PM - Police arrested Anthony R. Borno, age 23 of Rockaway Township and charged him with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 202/31. Borno was initially stopped for a view obstruction and speeding. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstructed view, open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Friday, November 10, 2017 @ approximately 6:49 PM - Police arrested Michael Arcamone, age 50 of Feasterville, PA and Dawn M. Frycki, age 51 of Raritan Township and charged them each with offenses following a single motor vehicle crash on Rt. 202/31. Police were initially called to Rt. 202/31 in the area of Cornet Way for a motor vehicle crash. Following an investigation on scene, police learned that Arcamone was driving south on Rt. 202/31 in 2004 Toyota Sienna when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the center concrete barrier. Arcamone was charged criminally with operating a motor vehicle during period of license suspension while the license was suspended or revoked for a violation of the driving under the influence statute. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain lane control, careless driving, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and failure to report a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle was towed and Arcamone was released to a friend after processing. Frycki was charged with hindering the apprehension of another, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also issued a motor vehicle summons for allowing another to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Frycki was released after processing. Monday, November 13, 2017 @ approximately 4:29 PM - Police arrested Michael A. Sachs, age 25 of Basking Ridge, NJ and charged him with possession of over 5 grams of hashish and possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Old York Road. Sachs was initially stopped for speeding. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, obstructed view and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Sachs was released after processing at police headquarters. Investigation and arrest by Cpl. David Carson.
